Job description

1.Understand customer’s requirements from sales team regarding new product designs      & developments.

2. Involvement in planning, costing, selection of materials etc
3. Preparation of a drawings on software & come up with different options of product designs which can be suitable as per customer’s requirements.
4. Analysis of drawing from various angles like weight, thickness, width, shape, load capacity etc.
5. Selection of a proper material to develop new product
6. End to end coordination with mould makers to develop mould to take production of a finalized product design
7. End to end coordination with factory team to take the trial of a new mould & product
8. Provide backend administrative support to the sales team, customers, factory people & mould makers
9. Work on existing products & moulds to redevelop their quality & further improvements
10. Preparation of ISO Documents including inspection reports, mould history reports, feasibility reports etc
11. Software knowledge required – AutoCAD Drawing, Unigraphics, 3d modelling etc.

Mandate Points: Preparing innovative designs in software. Coordination with mould maker/ Factory & H.O team. Responsible for trials of Moulds at Factory.

3. Analysing the scrap generation and acting to reduce in process.
4. Manpower planning and control.
5. Responsible for maximum utilisation of machines.
6. Responsible for maintaining mould efficiency & improvements.
7. Review daily / monthly MIS Report.
8. Responsible for conduction new mould trails and given inputs for improvements.
9. Responsible to develop alternate Plastic raw material.
10. Maintaining the system and documents as per requirements.
11. Long-time forecasting – capacity plan.
12. Root cause analysis (Why – Why analysis) for each defects / breakdown.
13. Maintaining Operator, Technician and Engineer Training.
14. Maintain smooth conduct in production floor.

Mandate Points: PPC experience is a must, Raw material knowledge, Cost saving experience, Manpower Utilization, Automation Moulding experience, Experience in Moulds. Types of Moulds Exposure. Knowledge on properties & application. Experience in hot runner, multi cavity Moulds, All electric injection moulding machines.
